A shotgun is a hunting, sporting, military or police small arms weapon that fires mostly a burst of shot or a single shot. It has one or more barrels, most often with a smooth, less often rifled, bore. It is usually double-barreled (for two rounds), with barrels above each other (goat-shaped), or with barrels next to each other (double-barreled).
