The SIG SAUER P211-GT5 represents the full-size variant of the P211 platform, combining duty-grade durability with competition-level refinement. Its non-compensated configuration is designed for precise and controlled shooting in situations where reliability, durability, and versatility are essential. Chambered in 9mm Luger, the pistol utilizes a single-action-only operating system.
At the heart of the P211-GT5 is a target-crowned bull barrel measuring 5.0" (127 mm), paired with a full-length slide prepared for direct mounting of a red-dot optic using the SIG-LOC PRO footprint. The traditional, non-compensated configuration provides predictable recoil characteristics while maintaining excellent accuracy. The stainless-steel slide features a Nitron® finish and aggressive duty-style serrations for confident manipulation in demanding conditions. SIG SAUER confirms the GT5's 5-inch bull barrel and full-size configuration as key elements of the platform.
The P211-GT5 features fully ambidextrous controls for intuitive operation by both right- and left-handed shooters. The skeletonized flat blade trigger with a single-action-only mechanism provides a clean and consistent break. Its safety system combines a grip safety and ambidextrous thumb safeties, supplemented by a firing pin safety mechanism.
The steel frame is complemented by a precision-engineered alloy grip module with G10 grip panels, providing a secure and tactile interface. A full-length 1913 Picatinny rail allows the installation of a wide range of accessories, while the removable steel magwell supports fast and efficient reloads. The sight system consists of an XRAY3 Day/Night front sight and a fixed black rear sight.
