American Rifle 22"

Ruger American Rifle Standard is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Win, representing the standard configuration of this popular line with a barrel measuring 559 mm (22") in length. The firearm is equipped with a cold hammer-forged barrel featuring ultra-precise rifling, which is bedded using the patented Ruger Power Bedding® system. This system ensures a free-floating barrel for exceptional accuracy. The receiver with a black blued surface finish is fitted with a Picatinny (Weaver) scope rail for easy optics installation.

At the heart of the firing mechanism is the Ruger Marksman™ Trigger system with user-adjustable pull weight ranging from 1.36 kg to 2.27 kg (3 to 5 lbs). Smooth and reliable action is provided by a one-piece bolt with three locking lugs and a bolt handle with a 70° throw, offering ample clearance for optics manipulation. Safe operation is guaranteed by an easily accessible and operable tang safety located on the stock.

The construction relies on an ergonomic, lightweight synthetic stock combining a classic profile with modern forend contouring and textured grip surfaces for positive handling. The stock is equipped with sling swivel studs for mounting sling swivels or a bipod. The butt end is fitted with a soft recoil pad designed to reduce felt recoil and provide maximum shooting comfort. The rifle has an overall weight of 2.85 kg and is supplied with one magazine with a capacity of 4 rounds.
