American Rifle Predator, 6.5Grendel

Ruger American Rifle Predator is a modern, highly accurate, and reliable bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Grendel, designed for varmint and small game hunting as well as target and recreational shooting at longer distances. The firearm features a heavier, medium-contour non-fluted forged barrel measuring 559 mm (22") in length with a 1:8" twist rate, which reliably stabilizes heavier bullets. The blued steel barrel is finished with a 5/8"-24 muzzle thread pattern. The rifle has an overall length of 1067 mm with a total weight of 3.0 kg.

The ergonomic and lightweight synthetic stock with a soft recoil pad combines a classic profile with modern forend contouring and textured grip surfaces. The patented Power Bedding® integral block system ensures positive receiver location and a free-floating barrel for maximum accuracy. The receiver comes equipped with a factory-installed one-piece Picatinny scope rail for easy optics installation.

The firing mechanism relies on the user-adjustable Marksman trigger system offering a pull weight ranging from 1.36 kg to 2.27 kg (3 to 5 lbs). Smooth cycling is provided by a bolt with three locking lugs and a 70° throw. Safe operation is guaranteed by a manual tang safety coupled with a trigger safety blade. The rifle utilizes detachable AICS magazines and is supplied with one magazine with a capacity of 10 rounds.
