Hawkeye Compact, 16.5", 7mm-08Rem

Ruger Hawkeye Compact is the lightest and most compact bolt-action rifle in the Hawkeye series, engineered for effortless maneuverability in tough terrain and rapid target acquisition. The firearm features a cold hammer-forged barrel measuring 419 mm (16.50") in length with ultra-precise rifling for exceptional accuracy and longevity. The ergonomic American walnut stock features rounded contours, wrap-around checkering on the grip and forend, and a shortened length of pull measuring 318 mm (12.50"). With an overall length of 902 mm (35.50") and a light weight of just 2.72 kg (6.0 lbs), it is an exceptionally agile rifle.

The action relies on a rugged, one-piece stainless steel bolt and a non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor paired with a fixed blade-type ejector. The hinged, solid-steel floorplate magazine has a capacity of 4 rounds and features a flush latch to prevent accidental cartridge dumping. The rifle is equipped with the smooth, crisp LC6™ trigger and an easily accessible three-position safety for safe handling during loading and unloading.

The solid-steel receiver features integral scope mounts machined directly into the action (scope rings included). The stock is also fitted with sling swivel studs.
