The Daniel Defense H9 is a modern compact handgun that combines the ergonomics and accuracy of the classic 1911 with the advantages of a striker-fired system. Chambered in 9×19mm, it features a magazine capacity of 15+1 rounds. The pistol has an overall length of 195 mm, a height of 130 mm, and a slide width of 25 mm. Its 4.28" barrel is made from forged stainless steel with a 1:10 twist rate, ensuring excellent precision and durability.

The frame is constructed from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a balance of low weight and high strength. The slide is CNC machined and treated with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating for enhanced wear resistance. The H9 features a direct-style 1911 trigger with a trigger safety, allowing for accurate and safe operation. Its low bore axis reduces muzzle rise, facilitating quick and accurate follow-up shots.
