The Glock 17 Gen4 pistols feature a new interchangeable grip system - G17/22 MBS (Multiple Back-Strap) with a reduced trigger reach (SF - Short Frame). This allows users to adjust the grip circumference to suit their hand size, with three sizes available. Grip changes are easily accomplished by removing a single pin. An advantage is that the grip angle remains consistent across different sizes, ensuring shooters do not alter their aim height or low when changing grips or pistols.

The magazine release is enlarged and reversible, allowing it to be switched to either side without additional parts. The recoil spring assembly has been upgraded to a dual recoil spring system, significantly reducing felt recoil and enhancing durability.

This model is ready to use the optical sights thanks to the modular MOS optical system. The barrel has an M13.5x1 mm thread.
