The Glock 22 Gen4 pistols now include a modular backstrap system - MBS (Multiple Back-Strap) with a reduced trigger housing SF (Short Frame). This system allows users to adjust the grip circumference to better fit their hand size. Three grip sizes are available, and swapping them is achieved through a simple disassembly of a single pin. One of the advantages is that the grip angle remains consistent across different sizes, ensuring that the shooter does not experience changes in aim height or low.

The magazine release is enlarged and can be adjusted laterally without needing additional components. The recoil spring assembly has been upgraded to a dual recoil spring configuration, significantly reducing recoil and increasing longevity.
