M9-A1, triangular sights, without safety lock

The Steyr M9-A1 is a modern Austrian service and defensive pistol with 4" barrel chambered in 9×19 mm, renowned for its ergonomic design, innovative sighting system, and outstanding reliability. The polymer frame features a deep grip angle and aggressive ergonomics that naturally align the shooter's hand and help reduce recoil. A mounted Picatinny rail for accessories is also included.

This pistol is equipped with triangular sights, featuring a triangle-shaped front post and a matching rear notch, allowing for quick and intuitive target acquisition. While unconventional, this sighting system is appreciated for its speed and ease of use with some practice.

The M9-A1 uses the Reset Action System, a specially designed pre-set double-action trigger mechanism, which provides a short, consistent trigger pull for enhanced control and safety.

This version comes without a manual safety – instead, it includes a trigger safety, an internal drop safety, and a carefully engineered trigger system. This ensures the pistol is always ready for immediate use while remaining safe to carry. A manual trigger safety exists as an optional feature in some variants, but it is not present in this configuration.
