The Taurus TX22 Competition is a full-size sporting pistol chambered in .22 LR, developed as a custom-tuned variant of their award-winning polymer pistol. It is engineered to meet the most demanding performance and accuracy standards. The pistol features an optics-ready slide and a 5.25" (133.4 mm) threaded barrel with a 1/2-28 thread pitch compatible with most .22 LR suppressors available on the market, making it ideal for competitive shooters and serious sport use.
The magazine capacity is 16 rounds, and the package includes three magazines. Controls are designed for reliable and comfortable operation, including manual safety, striker block, and trigger safety. The trigger is a single-action only (SAO) type, providing a consistent and crisp pull.
The sights are fixed front with a white dot and adjustable rear with a white dot, allowing precise adjustments according to the shooter’s needs. The frame is made from black polymer for durability and light weight. The aluminum slide is hard-anodized black, matte finished, offering long-lasting wear resistance.
Overall dimensions are 8.15" (207 mm) in length, 5.44" (138 mm) in height, and 1.25" (32 mm) in width, with an unloaded weight of approximately 23 oz (652 g). A standard Picatinny rail is mounted under the frame for tactical accessories.
