Taurus 669 is a classic all-steel revolver chambered for .357 Magnum, featuring a 6" barrel and an elegant deep high-gloss blued finish. Its robust medium-frame construction combined with the long barrel makes it well suited to both sport and defensive shooting.
The revolver operates in DA/SA mode, allowing both double-action and single-action firing. The cylinder holds 6 rounds, and the design also allows the use of .38 Special ammunition.
The 6" (152 mm) barrel features a full underlug, with the ejector rod enclosed along the full length of the barrel. The additional weight at the front helps reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil when firing powerful .357 Magnum loads. The barrel is topped by a solid rib, without ventilation openings, giving the revolver a clean and classic appearance.
The sighting system consists of a fixed ramp front sight with a colored insert and a fully adjustable rear sight, allowing elevation and windage corrections. This makes the revolver particularly well suited to accurate target shooting.
The frame is made from high-carbon steel, and the entire revolver features a deep high-gloss blued finish. Depending on the particular configuration, the ergonomics are provided by checkered rubber grips with a traditional Taurus medallion or an anatomical rubber grip.
With a weight of approximately 1,120 g, a 152 mm barrel, and a 6-round capacity, the Taurus 669 is a robust classic revolver offering a combination of durability, accuracy, and excellent balance, making it particularly suitable for sport and target shooting.
