The Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical is a modern 12/76 semi-automatic shotgun designed for tactical, defensive, and professional applications. Built on the proven 940 Pro platform, it combines a fast-cycling gas system, outstanding reliability, and extensive customization options.
The shotgun features a 470 mm (18.5") barrel with a durable Matte Blue finish. The barrel is threaded for the Accu-Choke Interchangeable Choke System, allowing shooters to tailor shot patterns for different applications.
The Cleaner-Running Gas System delivers reliable cycling and allows up to 1,500 rounds between cleanings. Internal components, including the gas piston, magazine tube, hammer, and sear, feature Nickel Boron coatings for reduced friction and superior corrosion resistance.
The receiver is Optic Ready, with factory cuts for direct mounting of Shield RMSc-pattern micro red dot sights. A cover plate is included for use when an optic is not installed. An enlarged knurled charging handle, oversized bolt release, enlarged beveled loading port, elongated elevator, and bright orange anodized follower provide exceptionally fast and smooth operation.
The adjustable synthetic stock allows approximately 44 mm (1.75") of Length of Pull adjustment and can also be configured for Drop at Comb and Cast using the supplied stock shims. Aggressive texturing on both the stock and forend ensures a secure grip.
The barrel clamp incorporates dual-sided M-LOK mounting slots and a sling swivel stud, allowing convenient installation of tactical accessories.
A Fiber-Optic Front Sight provides rapid target acquisition in a variety of lighting conditions.
The tubular magazine offers an 7+1 round capacity.
