MARLIN 1895 Dark Series is a modern lever-action rifle designed for durability, versatility, and practical field use. Chambered in .357 Magnum, it also reliably cycles .38 Special ammunition. The receiver, lever, and trigger guard plate are CNC-machined from alloy steel, while major metal components are protected by a rugged Graphite Black Cerakote® finish. The bolt and lever are additionally treated with a nitride finish for enhanced wear resistance.
Its cold hammer-forged alloy steel barrel measuring 16.17" (411 mm) delivers excellent accuracy and long service life. The barrel is threaded 1/2"-28 and comes factory-equipped with a radial muzzle brake, while a thread protector is also included. The tubular magazine holds 8 rounds of .357 Magnum or 9 rounds of .38 Special ammunition and is loaded through the receiver-mounted loading gate.
The nylon-reinforced polymer stock is built for demanding environments and features M-LOK® attachment slots for accessories. An included cheek riser provides an optimal sight picture when using optics, while the generous recoil pad helps absorb recoil. The anodized aluminum handguard also incorporates M-LOK® slots and QD sling attachment points for added versatility.
The rifle is equipped with a fiber-optic front sight featuring a tritium ring for improved low-light visibility, paired with an adjustable Ghost Ring rear sight. A Picatinny rail on top of the receiver provides a stable mounting platform for scopes and red dot optics. Overall length is 880 mm, weight is 2.9 kg, and length of pull measures 343 mm. Safety features include a cross-bolt manual safety and the traditional half-cock hammer position.
