Ruger American Rifle Gen II Ranch is a modern bolt-action rifle featuring a Flat Dark Earth Splatter Gen II American finish, combining advanced tactical features with high practical utility. The firearm is equipped with a cold hammer-forged, medium-contour alloy steel barrel measuring 409 mm (16.10") in length with deep spiral fluting, which reduces muzzle weight and improves balance without compromising stiffness or accuracy. The barrel is finished with a durable Cobalt Cerakote coating, a 5/8"-24 muzzle thread pattern, and a factory-installed radial port muzzle brake. The rifle has an overall length of 949 mm, a weight of 2.68 kg, and a 1:9.5" RH twist rate with 5 grooves.

The ergonomic synthetic stock in Cobalt Cerakote provides an excellent grip without being overly abrasive, and is fitted with a soft rubber recoil pad designed for effective recoil reduction. The stock features an adjustable length of pull ranging from 305 mm to 349 mm (12" to 13.75") via a removable spacer, alongside a removable comb for optimal eye-to-optic alignment. The receiver, complete with an integrated Picatinny scope base, is bedded in the patented Power Bedding integral block system to ensure a free-floating barrel and maximum accuracy.

At the heart of the firearm is the user-adjustable Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger system, offering a pull weight between 1.36 kg and 2.27 kg (3 to 5 lbs). Safe operation is guaranteed by an intuitive three-position tang safety. Smooth cycling is provided by a CNC-machined one-piece stainless steel bolt with a 70° throw and an oversized bolt handle with a 5/16"-24 thread pattern. The rifle feeds from a Mini Thirty style magazine with a capacity of 5 rounds.
