The Tikka T3x TAC A1 is a modern precision bolt-action rifle designed for long-range shooting, meeting the highest standards of accuracy, consistency, and ergonomics. Based on the proven Tikka T3x platform, this model is extensively upgraded for tactical and precision applications where repeatable performance, modularity, and shooter adaptability are essential.
The rifle is chambered in .308 Winchester and features a heavy precision barrel with a length of 24" (610 mm) and a 1:11" twist rate, providing excellent bullet stabilization across a wide range of .308 Winchester loads. The barrel is equipped with a 5/8-24 threaded muzzle, allowing the installation of muzzle devices or suppressors. The barrel design is optimized for sustained precision and consistent shot performance over extended use.
The action is based on Tikka’s robust cylindrical bolt system, known for its smooth operation and precise locking into the receiver. The rifle is equipped with a two-stage trigger with adjustable pull weight, enabling the shooter to fine-tune trigger characteristics according to personal preference and shooting discipline.
The system is housed in a modern aluminum chassis finished in black, providing exceptional rigidity and eliminating unwanted flex between the stock and barrel. The stock is folding, significantly reducing the overall transport length and improving portability. It also features an adjustable cheek rest, allowing precise alignment with optics for improved shooting ergonomics.
The chassis includes a replaceable pistol grip and an asymmetrical textured surface designed to ensure a secure grip under all weather conditions. Internal stock construction incorporates recoil mitigation elements, reducing felt recoil and improving control during rapid follow-up shots. The rear section of the stock is also designed with noise-dampening material, reducing mechanical sound during handling in the field.
The rifle is fed via a detachable magazine with a capacity of 5+1 rounds, compatible with the T3x platform. The receiver is fitted with a 0 MOA Picatinny rail, providing a stable mounting platform for optics without built-in elevation bias.
