The Winchester XPR Sporter is a traditionally styled wood-stocked bolt-action rifle designed for hunting and general-purpose field use, combining classic looks with modern functionality. Fitted with a specially designed Turkish Grade 1 wood stock in a pistol-grip, ambidextrous-friendly layout and an Inflex Technology recoil pad, the Sporter delivers superior recoil absorption for increased shooting comfort and faster follow-up shots. This .308 Win configuration features a 22" Hunter-contour steel barrel with a 1:12 twist rate and M14x1 muzzle threading for a compensator or suppressor, and it is supplied with Weaver bases for Picatinny-style scope rings. The action is right-handed with a steel receiver and bolt body in matte black finish; the DBM (drop box) magazine capacity is 3+1 rounds, overall length is 107 cm and weight is 3.2 kg. The M.O.A. trigger system uses rotating leverage to release the striker cleanly and rapidly for minimal creep and a crisp, repeatable break. Safety features include a two-position manual safety with an additional bolt lock and a bolt release button that permits loading or unloading with the safety engaged. The XPR Sporter is aimed at shooters seeking a classic wood-stock aesthetic together with reliable performance, precise handling and enhanced shooter comfort.
