Its simple design, low recoil, and user-friendly handling make it an excellent choice for new shooters, younger users, and experienced shooters looking for a dependable everyday rimfire rifle.
Chambered in .22 LR, the rifle operates via a semi-automatic action, allowing for fast and smooth follow-up shots. To enhance accuracy, the rifle features a free-floating 18" (457 mm) barrel, designed to minimize barrel harmonics and improve shot consistency.
The 702 Plinkster comes equipped with adjustable iron sights, consisting of a fiber-optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation. The receiver is grooved with a 3/8" dovetail, allowing easy installation of scope mounts or other optical sights.
Safe and intuitive operation is ensured by a cross-bolt safety, conveniently positioned within reach of the shooter, while a push-button magazine release enables quick magazine changes. The detachable box magazine has a capacity of 10 rounds.
The black synthetic stock features textured gripping surfaces on both the pistol grip and fore-end, providing a secure hold even in adverse conditions. Its lightweight and well-balanced design contribute to comfortable handling during extended shooting sessions.
