The Heckler & Koch P30L V3 is a semi‑automatic pistol chambered in 9×19 mm, designed as the extended variant of the proven P30 platform, with enhanced sight radius and shooting stability. The P30L represents a logical evolution of the standard P30, offering shooters a longer barrel and slide without sacrificing ergonomics, safety, or handling performance.
The V3 variant employs a SA/DA trigger system with a Double Action pull of approximately 51 N and a Single Action pull of approximately 24 N, complemented by a decocking lever that allows safe lowering of the hammer without pulling the trigger. The pistol uses a locked‑breech design with a modified Browning locking mechanism and a robust polymer frame, contributing to long service life and reliable operation.
The barrel length is 128 mm (5"), which is significantly longer compared to the standard P30 barrel, and combined with an overall length of 208 mm, creates an extended sight radius that supports precise target acquisition and stable shooting characteristics. The height measures approximately 138 mm and the width approximately 34 mm, with a sight radius of 148 mm, providing a comfortable and secure grip in a variety of shooting scenarios.
