The Mossberg 500 Retrograde is a 12-gaude pump-action shotgun that combines the proven Mossberg 500 platform with a classic retro appearance. Traditional walnut furniture is paired with the reliability and durability for which Mossberg pump-action shotguns are well known.
The shotgun features a 470 mm (18.5") barrel with a blued finish and a fixed Cylinder Bore, making it suitable for both shotshells and slugs.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting and incorporates dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lockup, and an anti-jam elevator for smooth and reliable cycling. Mossberg's signature top-mounted ambidextrous safety is also included.
The stock and Corncob-style forend are crafted from walnut, providing a traditional appearance and secure grip. The fixed stock features a 13.87" (352 mm) length of pull and is fitted with a ventilated rubber recoil pad for improved shooting comfort.
A bead front sight is fitted for aiming. The tubular magazine provides a 5+1 round capacity. Overall length is 1003 mm (39.5"), while weight is approximately 3.06 kg (6.75 lb).
