The Mossberg 590A1 Retrograde combines the classic appearance of Mossberg's early tactical shotguns with the rugged 590A1 MIL-SPEC platform. Chambered in 12/76, this pump-action shotgun blends traditional walnut furniture with military-grade durability for professional and defensive applications.
The shotgun features a 510 mm (20") Heavy-Walled Barrel with a durable Parkerized finish. The barrel incorporates a fixed Cylinder Bore and a Heat Shield to protect the shooter's hand during extended firing. The 9-shot (8+1) configuration also includes a bayonet lug.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting and incorporates dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lockup, and an anti-jam elevator for smooth and reliable cycling. Mossberg's signature top-mounted ambidextrous safety is also included.
MIL-SPEC construction includes a metal trigger guard, metal safety, and a Clean-Out Magazine Tube for simplified maintenance. The stock and forend are crafted from walnut, with the stock featuring a fixed 13.87" (352 mm) length of pull.
Ghost Ring sights provide fast target acquisition and excellent visibility in low-light conditions.
