The Mossberg 590 Nightstick is a compact 12-gaude pump-action shotgun built on the proven Mossberg 590 platform. It combines classic wood furniture with the rugged reliability and distinctive ergonomics of the Nightstick series.
The shotgun features a 365 mm (14.375") Heavy-Walled Barrel with a matte blued finish. The barrel utilizes a fixed Cylinder Bore, making it suitable for both shotshells and slugs.
The receiver is drilled and tapped for optic mounting and incorporates dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lockup, and a smooth-operating anti-jam elevator. Mossberg's signature top-mounted ambidextrous safety is also included.
The firearm is fitted with a wooden Raptor Grip (Bird's-head Grip) designed to reduce perceived recoil. A Corn Cob wooden forend with an integrated leather retention strap provides enhanced control during operation.
A bead front sight is fitted for aiming. The tubular magazine provides a 5+1 round capacity. Overall length is 670 mm (26.37"), while weight is approximately 2.38 kg (5.25 lb). The shotgun also features a Clean-Out Tube for simplified maintenance.
