The Mossberg 590 Thunder Ranch is a 12/76 pump-action shotgun developed in collaboration with Clint Smith, President and Director of Thunder Ranch. Built on the proven Mossberg 590 platform, it combines modern features with a durable Cerakote Patriot Brown finish.
The shotgun features a 470 mm (18.5") barrel finished in Cerakote Patriot Brown and a fixed Cylinder Bore, making it suitable for both shotshells and slugs.
The receiver is also finished in Cerakote Patriot Brown and features the Thunder Ranch logo engraving. It is optic-ready for red dot sights using the Shield RMSc footprint and is also drilled and tapped for additional optic mounting options.
The action incorporates dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel-to-steel lockup, and an anti-jam elevator for smooth and reliable cycling. Mossberg's signature top-mounted ambidextrous safety is also included.
The shotgun is fitted with a compact synthetic stock featuring an adjustable length of pull from 305 mm to 330 mm (12"–13"). A fiber-optic front sight provides fast target acquisition.
A tubular magazine provides a 6+1 round capacity. Overall length is approximately 978 mm (38.5"), while weight is approximately 3.06 kg (6.75 lb). The shotgun also features a Clean-Out Magazine Tube for simplified maintenance.
