CZ 457 VARMINT LH – precision rimfire rifle with heavy barrel for left-hand shooters
The CZ 457 VARMINT LH is designed for left-hand shooters who demand maximum stability and accuracy when shooting at medium and longer distances. Built on the modern CZ 457 platform, this configuration combines a heavy barrel with an American-style stock, making it well suited for precision target shooting as well as small-game hunting.
The stock is made from quality walnut and finished with a durable lacquer coating. The American-style stock, without a raised cheekpiece, is optimized for use with optical sights and its symmetrical design makes it suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters. The length of pull (LOP) is 355 mm, ensuring a stable and comfortable shooting position.
The rifle is equipped with a heavy cold hammer-forged barrel measuring 525 mm (20") in length and chambered in .22 LR, with a 1:16 twist rate and six grooves to ensure consistent ballistic performance and excellent accuracy. The muzzle features a 1/2×20 thread for mounting compatible accessories. For optics installation, the receiver is fitted with the proven 11 mm CZ dovetail rail.
The single-stage trigger is fully adjustable, with a trigger pull weight of approximately 11–14 N, allowing shooters to fine-tune the trigger characteristics to their preference. The CZ 457 system also allows user-friendly barrel and caliber changes, enhancing the rifle’s versatility. The detachable magazine holds 5 rounds, and the rifle is capable of accuracy up to 1 MOA.
With an overall length of 981 mm and a weight of approximately 3.3 kg, the rifle provides excellent stability for precision shooting. The CZ 457 VARMINT LH combines classic walnut craftsmanship with a heavy precision barrel and the advanced engineering of the CZ 457 rimfire platform.
