The CZ 457 VARMINT SYNTHETIC model was created based on the wishes of customers who demanded a combination of high accuracy of a Varmint configuration with maximum durability of a modern polymer stock. Modern caliber .22 LR in a variant with a 20" barrel.
The CZ 457 VARMINT SYNTHETIC was developed in response to customer demand for a rifle combining the precision of a varmint configuration with the durability of a modern polymer stock. The result is a compact and robust rimfire rifle suitable for precise target shooting as well as small-game hunting at medium and longer distances.
The stock is made from durable polymer and finished with a soft-touch coating, providing a secure and comfortable grip even in adverse weather conditions such as rain, cold, or heat. Its ergonomic design without a cheekpiece makes it suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters, while the length of pull (LOP) of 355 mm ensures a stable shooting position.
The rifle is equipped with a heavy cold hammer-forged barrel measuring 525 mm (20") in length and chambered in .22 LR, featuring a 1:16 twist rate and six grooves for consistent ballistic performance and high accuracy. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×20, allowing the installation of compatible accessories. For optics mounting, the receiver is fitted with the proven 11 mm CZ dovetail rail.
The single-stage trigger is fully adjustable, with a trigger pull weight of approximately 11–14 N, allowing shooters to fine-tune the trigger characteristics to their preference. The CZ 457 platform also allows user-friendly barrel and caliber changes, increasing the rifle’s versatility. The detachable magazine holds 5 rounds, and the rifle is capable of accuracy up to 1 MOA.
With an overall length of 981 mm and a weight of approximately 3.3 kg, the rifle offers excellent handling and stability during precise shooting. The CZ 457 VARMINT SYNTHETIC combines the durability of modern materials with the accuracy and reliability of the CZ 457 rimfire system.
