Smith & Wesson Performance Center Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp from the Bodyguard 2.0 series is a modern micro-compact pistol designed for concealed carry, offering enhanced control, reduced recoil, and improved ergonomics. Chambered in .380 Auto, it features a polymer frame and an exceptionally low weight of approximately 335 g, with an overall length of 14.9 cm, height of 10.2 cm, and width of just 2.2 cm. The pistol operates on a striker-fired system and is supplied with magazines of 10 and 12 rounds. This model has a manual thumb safety, allowing it to be used by shooters of any skill level.

The pistol is equipped with a 7.9 cm stainless steel barrel finished in Armornite® and featuring a ported design. The integrated Carry Comp® (PowerPort™) system redirects gases upward to significantly reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise, improving control during rapid or follow-up shots. The stainless steel slide with a Performance Center Gray Armornite® finish features an aggressive design that enhances grip for reliable slide manipulation. A slim, textured grip and a flat trigger with a crisp break further contribute to control and shooting consistency.

For fast and effective target acquisition, the pistol is fitted with Ameriglo® night sights, including a Protector LumiGreen front sight and a blacked-out square-notch rear sight. The combination of compact dimensions, lightweight construction, recoil mitigation through the Carry Comp system, and enhanced ergonomics makes this model a highly capable and refined choice for everyday concealed carry and personal defense.
